This refillable umbrella base features dual filling ports and supports three filling options: 115 kg of water, 165 kg of sand, or up to 200 kg of wet sand. The achievable weight provides strong stability to keep your cantilever umbrella secure in windy conditions. For best results, we recommend filling with sand first and then adding water. This method helps create a denser foundation, and if minor leakage occurs, the sand remains in place to maintain support.
Note: Avoid using water only in cold or freezing climates, as frozen water can expand and damage the base. A sand-and-water mix helps prevent weight loss from possible leakage and minimizes issues from stagnant water in sealed tanks exposed to heat and sunlight.
