Payment Methods

Accepted payment methods
We accept the following payment methods for purchases on Terraliving: Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club, Visa Electron and PayPal. We may add additional payment options in the future (for example Klarna or Afterpay) and will list any new methods at checkout when they become available.

Currency and taxes
All product prices shown on the Terraliving website are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD) and include applicable taxes and any customs/clearance fees necessary for delivery to Australian addresses. The price you see at checkout is the final price you pay; no additional GST, customs or clearance fees will be charged at delivery for orders shipped within Australia.

How payments are processed
Payments are processed using secure, PCI-compliant payment gateways integrated with Shopify and PayPal. Terraliving does not store full payment card numbers on its servers. Card details are transmitted securely to the payment provider and are tokenised or handled by Shopify/PayPal in accordance with their security standards.

SSL and transaction security
All pages that collect payment information use SSL encryption. Our domain is protected under GoDaddy’s domain security and our checkout uses Shopify’s secure checkout infrastructure. These measures protect cardholder data in transit and help prevent unauthorized access.

Refunds and chargebacks
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for purchase, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Once we approve a refund, we will process it within seven business days; the time until you see the money back in your account depends on the card issuer or payment provider. Any currency conversion fees, surcharge fees, or bank charges applied by your payment provider are the responsibility of the buyer and are not refunded by Terraliving unless otherwise required by law.

Failed payments and retry attempts
If a payment attempt fails at checkout, you will be notified on-screen and via email. You may attempt payment again, or contact  support@terraliving.au for assistance. Orders will not be processed until payment is successfully authorised.

Authorisation holds and pre-authorisations
For certain orders we may place a temporary authorisation hold on the payment card to confirm funds. Authorisation holds are released according to your card issuer’s policies once the transaction completes or is cancelled; the timing is controlled by the card issuer and not by Terraliving.

Stored payment methods
If you create an account and choose to save a payment method for convenience, the payment method will be stored as a token by our payment processor (Shopify or PayPal). Terraliving does not store full card data. If you wish to remove a stored card, you may do so by logging into your account or contacting  support@terraliving.au

Instalment and third-party credit providers
If you use a third-party instalment provider (for example, Klarna, Afterpay or similar, when available), the instalment agreement is between you and the provider. Such providers process your payments and perform credit checks according to their own terms and privacy policies. Terraliving is not responsible for disputes arising from the instalment provider’s terms. Any refunds for orders paid through an instalment provider will be handled according to both our refund policy and the provider’s processes.

Fraud prevention
We use standard fraud-detection tools provided by Shopify and payment gateways to reduce fraudulent transactions. Where we suspect fraud, we may cancel the order and notify you. We may also request additional information to verify identity or payment source before fulfilment.

Recurring billing and subscriptions
Terraliving does not offer recurring subscription billing at present unless explicitly stated for a specific product. If a subscription product is introduced, details about recurring billing, cancellation, and renewal will be clearly displayed at the point of sale.

Tax invoices and receipts
A digital receipt and order confirmation will be emailed to the address provided at purchase. If you require a formal tax invoice for business purposes, contact  support@terraliving.au and we will provide one where applicable.
